Welcome to BeautySecretSalon

Massage is the kneading and stroking of the body's soft tissues - the skin and the muscles - with varying degrees of pressure, and is incorporated in a number of traditional health systems such as Ayurveda.

What does it do?

Gentle massage affects the nervous system through the nerve endings in the skin.

Massage stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural "feel good" chemicals, to help induce relaxation and a sense of well being therefore relieving pain and reducing levels of stress chemicals.
It also helps reverse the damaging effects of stress by slowing the heart rate, respiration and metabolism and lowering raised blood pressure.
Stronger massage stimulates blood circulation to improve the supply of oxygen and nutrient to body tissues and helps the lymphatic system to flush away waste products.  It eases tense and knotted muscles and stiff joints, improving mobility and flexibility.

Swedish massage consists of manual manipulation of the tissues using a range of five classical massage movements to produce a deep relaxing massage, breaking down tension nodules, relaxing tight muscle fibres, soothing nerve endings, reducing muscular aches and pains whilst stimulating the circulation, reducing mental fatigue to create a sense of well being.
